A network for Black Doctoral students of any discipline, nationwide.
Black PhD Collective (BPC) is the first national network dedicated to socially and professionally supporting Black and Black-mixed PhD students in the UK, regardless of the University or discipline.
Our mission is to build connections, mentorship, and professional development by creating spaces for academic and personal growth. Through events, collaborations, and shared resources, we aim to build a strong, visible, and empowered community.
Please note: Professional Doctoral students (e.g. ClinPsyD, DClinPsy, ForenPsyD) are more than welcome to join the network.
Join a vibrant network that celebrates and supports Black PhD students across the UK. We provide a unique platform for sharing experiences, fostering connections, and building a supportive academic community.
Enhance your academic journey with our comprehensive range of professional development events. From workshops to networking opportunities, we aim to equip you with the skills and connections needed for a successful career in academia and industry.
We understand the challenges of pursuing a PhD. Our focus on wellbeing ensures you have access to resources and activities that promote a balanced lifestyle, helping you to thrive both personally and professionally.
We are incredibly grateful to our funders for their generous support in making Black PhD Collective possible. Their commitment will allow us to create meaningful opportunities for Black PhD students. Thank you for believing in our vision and investing in the future of Black scholars.
